Twittamentary has been a film about community from the beginning.  When we were developing the film, Twitter users contributed story ideas and visual material.  Then they helped organiz 14 beta screenings on 3 different continents and shared valuable feedback that shaped the final cut of the film.

Over the past year, we have received many requests from people across the world, offering to host film screenings.  So we are thrilled to announce an open call for community screenings to take place between Feb 1 and May 1st 2012.

If you'd like to host a screening, just drop an email to us:

Send to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Subject: City and Country the screening will be held in

Content: Where and when you intend to screen the film and how you'd meet the guidelines of screening.

Setting up a screening is not hard at all.

You need to set up a dual screen projection, with a live twitter wall to go with the movie playback.

The screening has to be open to the public and free of charge. If you'd like to charge for food and beverages, please keep admission to 10 USD per person or less.

You need to gather at least 20 people for the screening.

You can read the full details of the guidelines here. Feel free to tweet us @twittamentary or drop us a note at twittamentary@gmail.

We look forward to sharing the film with you and your community.
