This story about cyberstalking comes to us through Twitter'er Jesse Luna who had the 'creepy' experience of being stalked on Foursquare and Twitter:

Social Media Manager: Finding Your Dream Job via Twitter

My Twitter story is about connections and new opportunities. I had been in the tech consulting industry for a couple of years when I started my blog www.socialnerdia.com to explore the convergence of tech, marketing, and social media. I wanted to learn about people I admired so I started to reach out to them. On Twitter. I soon started interviewing them via email, video, and a podcast. Most of the people I interviewed agreed to do so via Twitter.

How Twitter helps me answer questions

During my time in China I had brought my iphone from Canada to China hoping to use it.  Unfortunately when I inserted the PRC SIM card I kept getting errors.  My boss promptly (and while mobile) posted the problem to Twitter seeking answers. Almost immedietely we started receiving tweets from people on the problem.  It was amazing to see the immediate response and get my question answered quicker and more accurately than Google search.  The answer was that no, I could not use my iPhone, but I found my new Wikipedia through the experience.

Twitter for language learning and cross-cultural contact @ullrich

We used Twitter for language learning at the distant college of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Our adult learners seldom have contact to native speakers and only few opportunities to practice English (and only limited time). So, we taught them how to use Twitter and "recommended" to twitter at least  5 times a week.

“This "TWITTER" same as schoolyard~~~”

“Would you please do not close the twitter online? It offers us a free space to put ourself in English.”
