Bridging Gap between Journalists and PR Pros #journchat @PRsarahevans

Jason Kintzler, @jasonkintzler, founder of social media release platform Pitch Engine, recommends Sarah Evans, @prsarahevans and #journchat as a great story for Twitter documentary #Twittamentary.

On Twitter, a good idea can go global in an instant.  This is what happened when PR maven, Sarah Evans @prsarahevans, started the chat topic #journchat to start an open dialogue between journalists, bloggers and public relations professionals. The conversation takes place every Monday night from 7 to 10 p.m. CST via Twitter.

Twitbirding: Long Distance Birdwatching @abaesel @Bali_Chris

Even as we write ( or rather even as we 'tweet'), Annette Baesel @abaesel is on her way to Bali, Indonesia  with her husband.  What makes the trip to this exotic tropical paradise is the fact that she is going to meet @bali_chris, her long distance birdwatching partner via Twitter.

We don't know about you but we have never heard about long distance bird watching before.  How does it work?  Let us hear it from Annette's own tweets:

Sharing Twitter Stories With Pictures Mathys Van Abbe @mathys

Mathys comes recommended to us by Caspar ter Horst @casparterhorst. Caspar is featured in one of our #Twittamentary stories. Caspar didn't tell us much, only that Mathys is one of the movers and shakers of the Dutch social media scene and the founder of MobyPicture, a platform that allows users to share pictures through social media platforms including Twitter.
