NYC Screening

Twittamentary began about a year ago when Director Siok Siok Tan set out on a whirlwind tour across America to discover and document the effects of the social media phenomenon, Twitter. She interviewed a wide range of Twitter'ers, from a travel journalist turned "twilebrity" to a homeless women who uses twitter from a public library to a prostitute who uses twitter as her personal GPS.

Twittamentary's journey from idea to reality gets one step closer to completion with a special screening of the documentary this Thursday, October 14 at 6pm at the Roger Smith Hotel in New York City (E 47th St and Lexington Ave).

Siok Siok, as well as some of the tweeters featured in the documentary, will be on hand to answer questions and hear your thoughts about Twittamentary. It's not often that the Singaporean filmmaker flies in from Asia or shares her personal work with the public, so don't miss out on this special opportunity.

"Twickets" are $14 in advance and $20 at the door. They include a cocktail and snacks.
