We believe in the power of storytelling to capture the spirit of Twitter. What is your Twitter story?

Tell us a great story that answers the question "What is the most interesting thing that happened to you because of Twitter?" You can register here and submit your stories before 30 Sep 2009.

We are all storytellers on Twitter, sharing stories of our lives, big and small, 140 characters at a time.

We have heard stories of how Twitter users mourn the death of a cancer patient whom they have never met in real life before, how strangers reach out to give help in times of calamity or emergency, how people come together to organize fun and wacky events for charity.

24 Hour Story Telling Event

The submissions process will culminate in a 24 hour across the globe storytelling event in September 2009. (We will be announcing the date shortly)

On 'Twittamentary Day', videos and tweets will 'go live' through out the day.  It will be an entertaining online event that will give the Twitter community a glimpse of the material that we have gathered to date.

If you submit your videos before the date, we will be holding the videos till Twittamentary Day before releasing them. So don't panic if they don't 'pop up' on our website immediately!  Read more on the 24 hour event here.
