It was an extremely rare demonstration of democracy in Singapore.The AWARE EGOM is one of the most discussed events of the year. And #awaresg quite quickly made it to the number one hashtag and the world heard us.

It was fun being a total geek and co-tweeting "live" with @sioksiok at the 10 hour long meeting at Suntec City and reading the tweets of other people. It was amazing to witness the strong voices of Singaporean women and Twitter brought that to the many who couldn't be there.
