This story came recommended to us by Caspar ter Horst @casparterhorst.  It is the story of how a young Dutch artist Gaby @gaby407 created a daring piece of art as a tribute to his hero Lance Armstrong @lancearmstrong during the final stage of tour de france 2009 and live tweeted the whole process!

Gaby caused such a stir that Nike, one of Lance Armstrong's sponsors, wrote a story on his artistic feat:

"Lance’s strength inspires Gaby, who was confronted with dyslexia at a very young age. Luckily, Gaby kept his hopes high and turned what he initially saw as a weakness into his biggest strength—his amazing creative talent.

Gaby wanted to use his strength to give Lance a motivational push up the last climb of stage 16 at the Tour de France. Tackling closed roads and rainy weather, Gaby finally found the perfect spot for his work. He pulled out his Lance-drawn cardboard stencil, a material Gaby is well known for, and spray-painted Lance’s face across the mountain. Then he waited, covered in paint, to snap a picture the moment Lance went riding over his own are piece."
