To be honest, I wasn't an avid twitter fan in the past.

Because I don't like bragging my life... Plus, there wasn't really much going on in my life. I am just a university student trapped in a seaside city...;-)

But this summer, I truly realized the magic of twitter! It's a fantastic learning experience for me.

I use twitter to follow people dedicated to the spheres of my interests--arts, media, Journalism, etc, more directly, more personally and definitely more authentically . For example, 闾丘露薇，Rebecca Mackinnon... It helps me stay in touch with these pioneering journalists and keep updated with their focuses! Their tweets always flow with strong personalities and I am so impressed with their unaffected manner and flashes of wit ...Is there anything cooler than that?

I never imagined I could be this close with these bunch of cool people who I used to only see on TV, Internet or newspapers...Twitter changes all that!

Also, I am following a lot of people who are active in Chinese tech/media/arts scenes... I believe this is just a start!

Twitter does make the world flatter, hotter and more crowded.:-)
